I forced a little bit my entry because i wasn't patient enough. My real entry was 55.50 or 55.00 I taught that i got in at 55 but apparently i didn't, i was to slow.
I watched the news and so that they lowered guidance for Q1, REV was bad EPS was also bad and they mist on sales. The chart was suggesting that it was to much overextended on the downside so i waited on the open to see how it behave and then i shorted into resistance.
I watched the tape and gather information into the premarket and into the open to understand where it was going to turn. I so that at 55.00 it was slowing down significantly and also it was filling the premarket gap. I had 6 big checks in my favor to short this stock. Also every time it touched the 55.50 area it failed immediately, same thing at 55.
I was patient to let it develop in order to be able to execute my plan but i wasn't patient enough to get my real entry and my real exit.
My plan was to get long at 55.50 or 55.00. My stop was if 55.50 broke. My exit was 53.00.
I respected my theses partially. I panicked and got a bad entry and also i got out much earlier then i should had.. I was fearing a reversal without not evidence of one.
NON
This trade was a good one (partially) because i had a good plan that worked out perfectly, but because of my wuss i left o ton on the table. That's a shame... I have to become better at managing my emotions when i'm trading by controlling my breath and thinking logically instead of panicking around.
