Rollover was officially last Thursday (as energies/metals have their rollovers on the second Thursday of every month). Monday is suppose to have two days of trading volume; i.e. Friday's and Sunday. This doesn't matter. Even though I checked the volume on the July contract and confirmed that it was trading six times more than June's....CL was still grinding traders like a MOFO.

Wicky city! I also took this trade at 11:00AM window. Although, this was my last window of opportunity to trade CL for the day....it felt forced.

Gabe took today off....I wonder if it's because he saw this coming. Will ask him on Thursday!!

In the future, I may only SIM trade on the two days following Thursday rollover days AND then Start trading on Tuesdays, instead. Maybe, take a four day weekend every second week of the month? That sounds good to me.

Heard on the interweb that "CL was trading on a five dollar range for the past six weeks". I'll ask Gabe what he thinks about this statement and if he could explain it to me.

Actually, now I remember! My mother called me and was angry at ME for something that I misunderstood. I gifted her a r/t First-Class ticket from New York City to Ecuador on American (for Mother's Day) BUT she wanted it for Rio de Janerio, Brazil, instead. Go figure!

I did get angry with her, engaged in a minor altercation, hung-up the phone and immediately placed this CL trade. Regarded as a BAD MOVE on my part and Lesson learned. I can't feel any anger, before entering a new trade and I won't yap on the horn, while trading futures!

Looking at the charts, below, I can CLEARLY see in HINDSIGHT that both the 15-min and the 60-min charts weren't in confluence for a long position with my 1-min chart. Both those charts were clearly showing Lower High's (LH) and the trend was clearly still DOWN since 9:56 AM. Arrrrgh!
