Patti yeah it was an anticipation although I had tried to anticipate using the 1min chart for entry as I normally do however this one just didn't work out. And Nape yes I believe this one gapped up due to earnings

yeah, i do the same thing ... set up has to be their on the 5 min and then look for a good entry on the one minute ... you had a good set up, for sure

i'd say this was an anticipation play and i find that they can sometimes need a little more wiggle room with a stop, because they haven't fully set up yet.
whereas, confirmation would be the break of the Vwap, but then they usually flush and you miss it.
