After the failed long as already explained , I stupidly, out of emotions and revenge, reversed to short with big size 8,000 shares without realizing 10.00 is major daily support anticipating 10.00 will most definitely break and fall to 9.80 , next daily support . My though was simply REVENGE :
" Let it go down to 9.80 and on 8,000 shares I will make $1,600 , so will make back the $900 loss from the long, and will score $700 green day. I disobeyed my rule to exit on ONE candle risk , or at least at BR EVEN. Because the huge size I allowed my EMOTIONS to dominate my ability to read CHART and TAPE OBJECTIVELY..When tested 10.00 and dropped few pennies bellow 10.00 , I was up $600 ( down only $300 for the day )was so excited.
I DID SEE THE TAPE and BID size getting huge at bellow 10.00 and SO WANTED drop never happen , but instead printed higher , a 5 min candle closed at my break even entry.
** So if something expected never happened why stay in the trade???**
and sure enough took an uptrend rally all the way to 10.20 the main line from PM and main supp that was broken after consolidation since the drop from 10.50. So the emotions and the revenge ,clouded my vision to objectively see what happens with price action again . Losing over $1000.00 is no fun at all.
