Shorted the first time thinking it was a bear flag into the afternoon. Wasn't enough confirmation though. I was trying to anticipate. I put my stop just above the 20 day ema and it triggered. I entered later expecting the same breakdown. S&P was getting smacked at the time. Didn't happen and I was stopped out again.

All in hindsight of course, you got chopped inside a big triangle. The sucker didn't break until the sixth tap. I like to use either buy stop or buy limit stop above a tough resistance, so when it does crack, it will take me for a ride.
