should have noticed this was going up but in a very weak manner as witnessed by all the wicks and small candles. Still managed to get out before I went red

Should have taken at least partial profit when it hit the 9ema on the 1min chart (around 4.70-ish) - that is usually the reversal spot early on like this. But glad you got out without even a scratch! LOL
