Very frustrating trade. I saw a bull flag forming on lower volume. Made an anticipatory trade thinking vol would pick up. On entry and the 1st and 2nd scale outs, price jumped against me just as I pressed send. I exited last 75 shares out of frustration.

If the spread is wide, consider entering a limit order for your scaleouts as price gets close. This is how I avoid the problem you are having.

The downside is if you do not have OCO orders you have to drop the stop order to place the limit sell. Still worth it in my opinion.

Your sells are faster than mine - though that may be good in this market. For this one I would have been getting out at 43.45 or so for initial scaleout and selling more into the breakout .
