Rationale:
-TSLA gapping up on no notable news
-sentiment on the day was relatively bearish
-plan was to get short above the open price (on gap ups, majority of days price will close below the open - didn't happen in this case, but still able to get a winning trade off)
Recap/notes:
-price really took off on the open, and I even thought this could be a gap and go, but I stuck to my plan and remained patient
-realized in my mind that I had time to make a decision and didn't have to anticipate anything
-one of the first times I entered with a clear area to risk off of (and exit or reduce risk if price reaches that level of risk)
How could I have traded this better?
-a bit more patience on the entry; ideal entry was 10:20-10:30 as price made lower highs
Gain/loss relative to expected gain/loss:
-PnL in line with expectations
