ACAD was on my morning watchlist but not one of the main stocks I was watching. ACAD is doing this beautiful uptrend (so far from 26 to 29) and I had the opportunity to get in on the second pullback above 27. I managed to get filled at 27.04 and had set my stop 18 cents below but the stock made a huge wick and I got stopped out at 26.88. After looking at the chart I noticed the first bottom was done below VWAP and so was the second. I made two mistakes with this stock: 1. I should have put my order below the 27 level and closer to VWAP. 2. I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN BACK IN when I saw the quick retracement and when the next 2min bar open and closed above 27!!
