• 04:25 PM EDT, 08/21/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Keysight Technologies' (KEYS) adjusted EPS jumped to $1.25 in Q3 from $0.89 a year earlier, sharply higher than analysts' estimates of $1.02 in a Capital IQ poll. Revenue grew 8% to reach $1.09 billion, also exceeding the $1.04 billion estimate.
• For Q4, the company expects revenue of $1.08 billion to $1.10 billion and adjusted EPS of $1.14 to $1.20, against CIQ estimates of $1.06 on revenue of $1.07 billion.

• Long on a clean flush to 93 give it room to work and wide stop to get out of price discovery
• Long if it holds above 94 at the opening look for 96 and be prepared for a rejection of 95 at the
• Long if I can move above 96 and hold with vwap underneath
• Short on a trend break if it does not top 97
Reading the Tape
I didn’t spend a lot of time reading the tape pre trade as it spiked down at the open to 92. After entering the trade however, as the trade was working against me initially I saw a couple large prints on the offer just above 93 and the tape started to pick up more bids even as the price moved lower.

• I had a few game plans to take this long
• I entered this early but did not want to miss this like TGT yesterday
• The tests of resistance were actually what I would want to see
• Needed better self- talk here
I believe that I need to keep a white board to make it easier to reference the game plan for the stocks that I want to trade at the open. I do believe that If I had remember that I though there was a good long at 94 as well, I may have been able to hold through what.
Plus, I felt like the pattern I was seeing underneath the resistance level was bullish. I need to not focus on the P&L and that has been a little bit more difficult to solve.
