Big Picture
- Lingering fear from China trade talks and FED decision on interest rates
- SPY trading at top of 282-293 range
- Q’s are forming an ascending triangle on hourly chart

Markets Intraday
- PM: SPY had a slow grind up from 292 to 293.5
- Quick pop to 293.75 (high of range on longer term chart)
- SPY failed and sold off $3
- SPY bottomed at 290.5 and trended up all day, closed at 292

Technical Analysis – Long Term
- news reports that a scandal at Japan Post Holdings Co. included improper sales of Aflac products
- half of revenue comes from health/life insurance in Japan
- Broke below very important support the previous day
- Its in a longer-term uptrend

Technical Analysis – Intraday
- Failed at yesterdays 49.5 level
- Following the market (SPY) closely

Original Plan
1. IF first move is down:
a. Look for a break of the 49 level then a pullback or a hold below the level (risk 3R)
b. Target 1 to lighten up is 48.5
2. IF first move is up
a. Look for price to spike into 49.5 but be very weak at that level, match with market weakness (Risk 2R)
b. Lighten up near 49 but put on another 1R if price falls and holds below 49

Execution Notes
My plan triggered when the stock traded up above 49.5. shorted it here as it was an important level from yesterday; I wanted to do the trade with two tiers but I accidentally executed it with one. I shorted 1 tier (1R, was supposed to be 2) at 49.52 risking off 49.72, I covered what was supposed to be one tier at 49.14 when I noticed some buying on the tape but I ended up covering my entire position. I decided to re-enter the trade when the stock and the market was pulling back up and I shorted it with 2 tiers (2R) this time; got filled at an average price of 49.25, still holding the position. I got stopped out of my entire position at 49.46.
