Reading the Tape
Can anyone read a tape that moves like this one… it looked strong as the price floated around.40 before break the local high. The momentum on the tape seemed like it would carry this to VWAP on a break of the local high. The tape did give me the thought of moving my stop closer as it never seemed to have the strength to get back above .50

• I have never traded the SPY
• So… I only wanted to play a break to VWAP and waited for a move past the recent high
• I am happy that I got me feet wet here.
• I was upset at taking the loss as I was mildly profitable before this trade. However, I played this right.
• Stop below consolidation on the 3 minute,
• Waited for a break above the last high
• The tape did lead me to believe that I was in a loser and should have bailed when I felt it was going wrong.
• I had put in my journal to wait for it to retest 287 before entering , but may have fomoed because of the one candle that moved above the last high
