Reading the Tape
I did not read the tape here. I was looking for a rejection of VWAP and took it soon as it broke it once and came back in. The spike after my entry was expected but the move above was more than I had expected and I still did not see the tape change on the fallout.
Trade Management

Trade Review
• This was not planned pre-market
• I am trying to take these VWAP as resistance and support holds or breaks as I see them
• This set up for a resistance hold play
• I did expect it to move past VWAP before turning
• I did not expect it to move that quickly and that strongly past this reduced my confidence a move back below 102
• I bailed as soon as this started moving back towards VWAP due to already taking on too much risk in this trade
• This is a set up that has edge if I can learn how to reduce the risk and figure out if I wait to take it after the break above or try to catch it if it rejects harder than this one did
Trade grade
Aspect Score Poss. Notes
Preparation 6 10 I was aware of the news making this stock strong into the opening and was looking for longs
Hard Work 6 10 I missed the tape read as I wanted to play the set up. Reading the tape may have gotten me a bit better entry, but it may have also kept me on the sideline looking for the “PERFECT “set up
Patience 5 10 See note above
Plan 7 10 Yeah… I bailed on the plan do to fear
Discipline 3 10 NO… I bailed on the plan due to fear

Nice logical trade on SJM. I was chatting to a few people who took the VWAP trade with you, it was a tough trader that day. It's spread kept opening up so wide on all of the nice pushes until they either followed through or re traced.

Would love to see the size you are trading, if you enabled that feature. it'd be easier to understand the MFE and MAE on your trades!

is that setting???

Yea, It's oddly, default, hidden. So we can't see your P&L per trade etc like you can.

You can change the setting by going Top right of the page>Username>Trade Settings>Include P&L information when sharing trades

Hope this helps!

Yea, I wish i could just hide this whole month away....... but September brings on a new earning season and hopefully some better follow through in the markets. Let's get ready for a clean finish to the year.

Looks like you changed the setting and I can see your trades now!

Have a good labor day weekend!
