Short after DT formed at Fridays VPOC area between 945-955.

Trade Execution/Timing

Initial short too aggressive, entering while buyers are still bidding up 11944 without any sign of exhaustion. Caught in stop run in the first attempt as a result. Second trade was executed after seeing the stop run on the tape. Buyers pushed through stops by 2-3 ticks just to run into aggressive sellers. Delta confirmed trade direction.

Order Flow Read

11955 was rejected after rally from EU cash open. Got short on the initial wick through 955s when I saw sellers stepping in on the tape. Got short too quickly though and should have seen followthrough at 11944 to confirm trade idea but instead went into sideways action trading in the 10 tick range for over an hour. Should have been more patient with entry and waited for short term delta to turn around as well.

Trade Sizing

Due to nature of the day only putting 3-lot positions on based on expected ATR and slow trade due to US holiday.

Trade Management/Exits

First out was too moderate, as price was only 5 ticks away from first target before buyers stepped in at Fridays VAL to push prices back to new highs towards 12000. Failed to flip position after 1 ticker of VAL.
