1) Buying breakout in PING with way too much room...did I give it enough room? Definitely...but this trade was probably not worth risking 20% of my downside (30% once slippage played into it!!!)
I chose .69 as my stop since it wicked down to .70 before returning to 19. There was a large offer at 19 but it kept holding. The breakout looking imminent but it just kept going low offer then flushing lower.
2) I saw a large bid at 18.50 which gave me a level to risk against. Took PING long on the offer at the best price I could (18.69) with a stop at .49. Even with slippage, only risking about 10-15% of my downside on this one. It was very strong once it broke 19.00 and I took some off in case it pulled back to 19.00 before testing 19.50. I got greedy and instead of taking more off or adjusting my stop to lock in profits, I let this come all the way back to my entry basically.
