Looking for gapfill bounce. Was fine once entered for about 1 minute until i realized i took 4x's the size i meant too and emotion took over, took off and butchered the trade. Incredible how calm when i thought i had average size and then once i saw i was fully in 90% on margin, emotions changed. I consider this a bad trade process wise as i changed my plan but it brought up a great issue. Will focus on this next week.

Great point (as that thesis didn't enter my mind) to sell back to original risk position. Ha. Brilliant!

Understandable that your emotional outlook on the trade would change significantly when you realize you have 4x the exposure you thought you had. Easy to look in hindsight and think you might want to have played it differently, but I think your exit was well executed. Only thing maybe to change would be to instead take off 3/4 of your position to get it back to where you had expected it to be in first place.
