The stock was making lower highs on the 5min chart already after the pop at the open. thats usually gonna signal a nice short opportunity

Thanks. That is great advice. I spend so much time watching the bounce off of the moving averages and often don't see the overall picture.

yeah , once I stopped using indicators I started trading better, bc I could focus on price and probabilities. I use the ema 20 but really only to tell me visually where the trend is
