yeah I use the 1min chart till around 10:15 or so and then I switch to the 3min. The reason I do this is that I use the higher timeframe as my "trading" timeframe and the 1min as my precise entry timeframe. I think using the 5min would be too much of a higher TF as opposed to the 3min. I also think 5min is a little too slow for my taste. Depends how you are trading of course
Okay makes sense. thanks. Yes, I find the 5min too slow also, but it does tend to give a better look/feel to the overall chart (less choppy looking) But I also look at the 15min chart for the smoothness also - to see the overall trend better. But for more detailed entries and precision, the smaller charts are better for that. Thanks for the info Jon. I can't wait til you go live, I want to see how you do then too! I think you are going to be a rock star at this!
I am going to be a rock star....maybe not right away lol but with time I will! and then I will open Schrager bulls and butts chat room lol!

lovely entry, and am very happy you practiced the partial exit on that first one :-) That second trade had a perfect exit man! Wow, you rocked this one! Question - looks like you are still using the 3min chart (versus 5min) even in the afternoon. Does that work well for you?
