BETTER
Size - My second entry at 139.6 was the real trade. I should have been sized to risk $150 in this moment, with stop below PMH. This meant 125 shares should have been tacked on at this moment.
- In the moment I did not properly calculate my stop, so just stuck it below LOD. That's too wide. On a break of level setup, the stop needs to be below the previous level that was broken, with partial stop below the micro-consolidation
Exit - Correct exit would've been to exit 50% at 143.6, then 25 at close 146.88. I was sloppy in taking off pieces of my trade2hold core at 143.6 and 144.8 when the true exit for that size was at 147 with the last exit.
GOOD
the story - traded $ROKU on a day with tier 1 bank upgrade, strong market, break and hold above 5d consolidation.
setup - waited for roku to get above PMH, then above 140 before entering size. Waited for price to confirm my idea, didn't enter early.
