This was terrible. It started out really good, but then several things happened:

What Happened:

• tried to exit before the halt @ $8.18 because I wasn't feeling good about it (great instincts)
• But my hot key submitted the order for $8.19 instead and I didn't realize until it was too late to adjust
• I submitted a limit order out of the halt instead of readying hot keys.
• I missed two opportunities to get out at $8.17, before the flush, but it happened to quickly.
• I couldn't get out before the second halt, on the way down, as I watched in amazement stunned
• And the worst part is, I held it, and then continued to trade while not in the right frame of mind. This compounded a bad situation and ended up doubling my losses.

This was a disaster. This destroyed my account. I traded emotionally after the initial loss when I should have walked away. I'm extremely disappointed in my behavior.

Corrections base on what should have happened:

• Recognize what price point is submitted by hot key and adjust immediately as necessary
• As quick as coming out of a halt happens, use hot keys, don't submit limit order. It took to much time to cancel and resubmit, and by then my limit at ask couldn't catch up.
• Keep presence of mind, and understand that reversal are only likely to get worse, so sell
• Upon a big loss, get up, and walk away. Live to trade another day.

This, mostly the revenge trading, was a huge setback. I took a blow to my moral, attitude, pride, account balance, and trading multiples. This sort of thing cannot happen again.
