this was an overnight hold, experimental trade.
Was thinking at this as a potential short squeeze candidate, trying to use short interest as an indicator of a potential move. Seeing that this had over 20% share short gave me more conviction.
My theory was the stock was up quite large on the day, having that many shares short on the name could be a great catalyst. wanted to have some 'skin In the name" I have tracked a few of these plays and I've seen some explosive moves in the morning with similar situations.
Did push off the open strong, was excited to see if we could get past yesterday's highs. ended up failing there and I held to long.

Still need future research on these types of plays. Looking for other ways to potentially see these moves coming to life.
one thought I've been playing with is the idea of down trending ( 2-3 days) / High Shorted names that are finding a common support level then using that to risk off for a Long.
