To be honest with myself I entered this TSLA trade based off a little bit of FOMO because I had missed yesterdays massive run-up. I saw some support building around $850s on LVL2 so I entered the trade, the stock pulled back an additional $17 to $833 which had me instantly second guessing myself but as the stock did form a bottom and bounce back up, with level 2 looking strong I stayed in and watched level 2. I caught the next 4 green 1 minute candles to the upside and exited.
After a slight pullback the momentum continued and the stock began to push. Because I was green so far and I re-entered on a huge bullish 1 minute candle with volume and a strong level 2. I held this trade for the next 4 candles and exited at the second red 1 minute candle with a large wick to the downside.
I re-entered on the break of the pre-market high of $908 with volume and a strong level 2. Within 30 seconds of reading the tape I felt the buying pressure was getting weak and no longer felt comfortable in this position so I exited.
The tape eventually did clear and the buyers stepped in so I re-entered on the same contract, strong level 2 and a break of $920 were my confirmations. I exited this trade on the strong selling pressure, as the stock hit a high of $940 then sold off to close that candle @ $929 where I exited. 2 minutes later the stock began a descent back down to $851 over the next 35 minutes. After witnessing this I became hesitant to re-enter at all especially considering it was one of my biggest green days yet I didn't want to fuck that up by over trading - also the TSLA pullbacks are known to be harsh so I knew it was better for me to sit on the sidelines at this point and wait to see how the rest of the day and play develops.
