Reading the Tape
This tape moves a bit and the time and sales can move a bit fast. But, it does seems to stall in some more predictable areas for some lower risk trades momentum trades.
Trade Management

Trade Notes
1. A typically small size scalp to get things moving and see how orders are filling. This had all the working of good scalp. There was some patience on the partial and I unloaded at the stall.
2. I almost got myself in a bad situation looking to short this off 180.50 with some minor success and again at .75. I did get hit as I tried to size into the next short. I added at .77 and had to bail as it broke above 181.
3. I flipped on very strong momentum on the break above 181. This gave no reason to sell other than I had made up for the prior loss. This is one of the areas where I need better discipline to hold a winner.
4. I took this short on a stall at 181.50 for a small win due to a small quick win and a set up looking for a run under 181.40 that tapped me out above 181.50.
5. I felt this was going to have the momentum to break and hold 181.70. Which its did. I played it to tight and was not willing to add even though the .60 only broke temporarily. If I would have stuck the entry strategy and risk this could have been a solid hit up to 182.
6. I added a little to heavy on this first add consider the price of the stock and still being counter trend. Once the trade started working, I should have held more size as this broke back below 182. I ended up taking off too quickly once this had come back to even. I then added at the wrong time. I was early on expecting a pull in to VWAP. Plus, I should have cleared when it hit that target.
7. I followed the short off VWAP with a quick momentum long. If I manage this with patience this would have worked for about another 10 minutes.
8. A small play to see if 182 would hold as resistance. But, it consolidated instead and shook me out on a small win.
9. A small play to see if 182 would hold as resistance. But, it consolidated instead and shook me out on a small win.
10. Tight attempted to get the extension above 182. I think I should have expected a break and a pull back before it pulled away from this level.
11. I got myself trying to add to this. I got beat up as it came back. I have been working on only adding if it comes back to my entry. But, I added late and often here when I should have just stayed away and taken the smaller loss on 50 shares moving back 182.
12. This was a nice momentum long here. I should have been able to get a lot more out of this.
13. I took this short as every time it got above .50 it would show weakness at lower and lower levels. It bounce strong off .40 right after I entered the trade.
14. I blew this momentum trade. I am not sure exactly. But, I think I was trying to gain some padding and just took a spread jump here when there was way more to this set up.
15. I did short off a hard rejection off 183. I got tapped out on a stop move. I tried to short it again to break .60 but scratched. It did move to .40 after wicking me out at .70
16. I played this to bounce off .70 as I had seen some action at this level earlier in the morning. I played this tight and trade never really worked.
17. I played through here pretty well. I set up the first trade solid partial with a stop that still allowed for small win and a longer term short to work. On the second one through here I got pretty took off to quickly again, plus added at the wrong time. That would have been big winner. I gave some back even after the solid bounce off 180.40.
18. I was looking for some short term moving average support as the tape looked strong. But, .60 kept holding and I was not willing to give it the room needed to work right. I probably could have been smaller here and taken a little more risk under .50.
19. The last failed trade made me feel this should be shorted. I played this very poorly looking to get big, I probably should have gotten my ass handed to me here.
20. I did not follow this short term trend well at all. there was a lot here that I could not hold long enough to let work effectively.
21. I think I should have just known that this was a time to hold such a small position would have been a solid time to work the math on adding in on a winning trade. I am actually wondering why I was so small on the out set here.
22. I tried to flip the short as it got tapped out and this dropped pretty quickly after that.
23. I felt like I got myself in a bad spot here and was just working the small range to bail myself out. I feel like I got lucky here and there was not any real edge on this. But, I do not remember if I saw something on the tape.
24. I have to play tight. I think once I start adding I am already looking for a quick bail.
25. The last two trades are me working consolidation. I either need to pick a side and wait it out or follow as it breaks.
26. I just needed to be bigger. The last two bailout setups I got into kept me small on this. But, this hit nice with a solid add to make up for the light entry.
