I had MU on watch due to chip stocks moving well recently and it was upgraded premarket from $47-$75. It had broke above the previous days high and was jumproping with the $59 level. As i was too busy being stubborn with my bad AMD trade i missed the better entry on the breakout above the morning high and $59.50 level with volume picking up nicely. It broke $60 with volume and not too much resistance. So i entered looking for $60 to hold. Again it quickly went against me where me still not in the best mindset held through the dip for it to push back above $60. Volume was slowing down a bit with some quick pushes down inside each 1 minute candle for it to work its way back above each rejection point. Watching these bursts down on the tape made me a little less confident with how far the stock would run but it kept pushing higher after each blip of selling pressure. I should have sold when it rejected near $60.70 with a long top wick and closed a decent scalp within 6 minutes. I never considered the ATR in this trade which was poor planning and awareness as full ATR was around the $59 mark. However with the strong volume early and the upgrade a larger ATR is not out of the question but should have been kept in mind. I held as it continued to make higher lows stair stepping up. I sold when it pushed back hard at the $60.90 area and decided just to lock profits at that point.

Entry: D I chased the entry a little and was impatient for better timing as i did not want to miss any continuation.

Exit: C I should have locked sooner when i had a solid 70 cent move in 6 minutes and with the selling pressure on the tape it would have been a good point to lock for a scalp. Or exited at the break above the bull flag 60.70 level where it failed to really push through.

Emotions: D Impatient and slight FOMO for the entry. Stubbornness and slight greed with the exit. Recognized my want to keep holding for more but with the earlier loss decided to lock the gains.

Made a similar trade. got in around 59.70 held last piece until 60.55. I did partial on the way up. eventually got slightly above 61 which I didn't expect based on tape eairler.
