I initially bought for the break of 4.50 but it ended up being a double top. I should have sold instead of averaging down, but I also like averaging down on stocks like this since there is usually a lot of momentum like witnessed on this stock after I sold out of my position. I sold out of my position for a loss since I am not too familiar with swing trading strategies. I sold out just under my average so it was a smaller loss. Could have held and sold when it was spiking up to 5.00, I need to learn how to interpret short squeezes and swing trades better.
Main mistake was not noticing the declining volume.
