AMD Trade on Mar 17, 2020 09:51 from TheDumo27: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

The market was indecisive premarket and at the open so i was patient looking for an entry. I saw /ES pushing lower and AMD had bounced back to test VWAP. I did not jump in on the first test but i tried to jump in on the second test and fail of VWAP around $39.65.I chased the entry a couple times but then it was too far so i let it go. I saw the support start to build around $39 but no big strength around it. /ES was looking to push through LOD so i entered AMD at $39. It broke below then tested my entry. I held as /ES was still weak. /ES started to show a bottom and AMD was showing some support. I also got my goal of 10% and held for maybe 30 seconds after reaching that goal so i locked with AMD around $38.40. I am only looking for 10% gain as a goal for right now to try to set good execution habits and control emotions as i tend to hold through gains and watch them turn into losers. Right now for me the focus is setting good habits as the money gained right now means nothing in the big picture and trying to catch more of move is not going to change my account enough to risk giving back gains and taking a loss. Like Taylor says "Keep moving the ball forward"

I was looking for the vwap rejection entry but my slight hesitation to pull the trigger caused me to not get filled a couple times. I was patient for another entry adn executed well on that one.

Exit: A
I saw support and slowing downside momentum for /ES and AMD and also i had hit my target gain.

Emotions: A-
I saw multiple plays in a few other names i considered taking but also missed my entries just like i did on AMD. With those misses i didnt keep chasing and waited for another setup to show itself. I locked when i hit my target but with slight hesitation as the move was continuing down still. I saw a quick step above my target so locked the price.
