So this is an A+ Setup for me. The stock was gapping up huge on its fourth Green Day getting very over extended. Going into the open it made a nice consolidation area with support around 3.20. Every time it dropped to the bottom of the consolidation level it would get bought up very quickly which gave me the impression that there were buyers waiting to get in at the open and this was going to spike. Could have made a nice opening drive play but I needed to focus on my short.

At the open it spiked up to 4.40 in a few min then had a pull back. This was all on huge volume and it slowly grinned up to 4.40 again where it was slapped down hard. Next it bounced up to 4.20 and just was starting to show signs of slowing down. Also the Lead ARPN was starting to sell off hard and I knew I wanted to be short this play when ARPN broke down. On the third bounce into the 3.80 I took my short when it could not get above 3.85. A few min later big sellers came in and caused a huge crack pushing it all the way down to 2.90 where I exited right before the halt. Recently all these plays have reopened and gone the opposite direction after the halt so I knew I wanted to be out.

After the reopen this had a big bounce up to the 3.50s and 3.60 rejected a few times so I again looked for another good entry. I got short again into a small bounce to 3.38 and was holding for a crack of the day low. It faded off then bounced off the day low on the first attempt. I was willing to give it one more try as APRN was selling of hard and if this could not break the day low I did not want to get caught in a reversal squeeze. When it failed to break the Day low in my time frame on the second try I cut the trade.
