An example of how i USED to trade - too aggressive too early and without clear understanding of the prevailing trend.

Noted we were looking for an hourly LH. Put too much emphasis on the initial sell off and convinced myself we were looking for a 5m LH. Took a trade after showing up to the desk late from sleeping in (intentionally). I should have taken this as an opportunity to trade with much less size or even not at all - just observe. We realized a 1.5 day loser + commissions (significant) which took out our weeks gains. As per typical, the move occurred without me just as i was stopped out for the final move - if patient and cautious this loss would not have been nearly as significant.

Errors:
- lack of clear trend and choppy action (potential 4hr H&S i was putting too much bias into)
- hourly lower high play; thus no rush and should have waited
- continued bear entries again and again; after the first failed attempt, its likely you are wrong. Wait for clarity.
- impatience, lack of understanding of the trend, and over-confidence from trading well the last week resulted in oversizing and repeated losses
