Intraday Fundamentals
• 06:20 AM EDT, 05/05/2020 (MT Newswires) – Starbucks (SBUX) CEO Kevin Johnson said Monday the company will reopen more than 85% of its stores in the US by the end of this week.
• However, Starbucks will only initially allow pickup, delivery, and drive-through services. Johnson said the coffeehouse company has expanded its services to include mobile ordering, curbside pickup, and grab-and-go services.

Trading Strategy
• Hold for this to fallback into 51 and see if it can hold for a long
• It had a strong day and got stronger into the close, this does set up for a some retest of and a possible pull back to 48 ish
• Opening range setups
• VWAP tests and SMA Momentum Trades
Reading the Tape
I was not having a lot of luck seeing where the heavy was at. I struggle seeing the time and sales at effectively.
Trade Management

Trade Notes
• I think that I misjudge what was a significant PM low. However, as this was changing into the second candle it looked like 74.50 was catching some support. But, it tapped me out and then caught some buyers just above 74 which I grabbed late and got a 1 for 1 trade on the second trade as it hit VWAP.
• I started with short off a test of VWAP that hit ok. It ended up only getting just under 1 for 1 as it started to hold 74.15 and VWAP. It did start to struggle at .77 and I really just lost patience waiting for it to come up to 75. At75, I got a short just off the top and took the win as my ratio in the morning ratio. I was already trading the P&L this early.
• The first trade out of the series was set up well. a strong stock at the opening testing VWAP coming out of the opening 90 is usually not a good set up. I will say that i cam in a little above .50 and which was costly. At .50, I would have still had a loser. But, it would have eliminated the follow up attempts here.
• I just tried to trade this along with the SMA and off 74. I did struggle to set up for 2 to 1s in here although the initial long here would have given me that. I did not hold that trade like I should have with that set up.
