Trade Reasoning.
If the stock shows the setup for a long trade, the target is R2. In case of a short trade the target is S1, entry price and the stop-loss to be determined. After the stock shows the entry price and the stop-loss the R/R must be at least 2-3 to enter the trade.
Action.
1. The stock opened under the 200ma, 20ma, R1 with a big red 2M price bar. Now the bias is bearish.
2. The next price bar is a green inside bar - wait and see how far up the stock can go.
3. Watched bars 3 and 4. Both shot upward but couldn't surpass the high of the opening bar.
4. Bar 5 started as a solid red bar. Wanted to short the bottom of the bar, but overcame FOMO. Made a passive short entry at 30% retracement. Entering at that level made better R/R. Shorted 1 lot because the price action was too sloppy and made me uncomfortable (the stock traded nicer in the pre-open). Mental stop-loss at the top of the opening bar + 1c.
5. Price went against the trade but the support held.
6. Bar 9 - missed opportunity to add to the position at 30.6. I didn't even try - need to work on that. Moved stop-loss to the high of bar 7.
7. Bar 10 pierced the support level = now I could exit. Paid the spread on exit.
