Reentered again and with twice the size as there was more better r/r since there was a drop with a support forming at the 4.40 lvl. There was also a green candle forming on the 5-min candle. I made sure to enter on a pullback as it hit already 4.60, but I can feel my brain screaming at me to just attack the ask and get in at all cost. After my first lost on this stock I ignored what my natural instinct was telling me and got in @4.55. This ideal entry helped me stay patient through some pullbacks and knew that if I chased strength (get in on momo) I would have sold right away.
I got a push to 4.68, but did not sell as my potential reward was a rtg move, a spike over the open price of 4.69. I hindsight I should have taken 1/2 off, but the low-float made think of the potential spike/short squeeze. I realize now that the g&c reversal (short squeeze/spike) was not possible because the stock lost its gains and the % was below 10% to even attract any shorts at the open. Had CYCC opened at 40-50% then some shorts would have be attracted to attack it because of the dilution CYCC had done in the past, but very valuable loss in CYCC. Tbh the losses hurt, but I am learning to take the losses as a man and learning from the losses because the experience brings so much insight into how these stocks move.
I also learned that if it was really a low-float, the it should move like a low-float and CYCC was struggling to move as a low-float. When I approached the open price of 4.69, it should have pullback and then spike after 2-4mins, but it did not. That should have signaled me to just get out. Trading experience is priceless
