• Follow the tape and the trend in the morning, this will close the spread pretty quickly and set some ranges early
• VWAP Test and SMA momentum plays
• Long at 47.50 if this looks strong, 47.77 seems to be a significant level from yesterday
Reading the Tape
There were times where this got heavy over 49 but I only managed to take advantage of it once. I got caught up in the early momentum and got in bad on FOMO. I did add on stalls at the prior day high, .50 twice and as the tape stalled just above 48.

7:31 AM I guess I followed the tape on the first trade like the plan said. I did not wait for it to set any kind of range. The spike to 49 caught me off guard a bit as it broke the PM range quickly. I fomo in looking for this to break 49 and head to 50 with dollar sings in my eyes. I added for a hold of VWAP, and again at 48.50 with a final add at 48.07 on the spike down and a little help from a tape. I had planned to add one more time if it hit 47.80 ish and set a stop 47.40ish. I was uncomfortable as this recovered. But, I think when I had developed a plan to add again. But, when it got me green and I was in a position to let a portion of this ride at no risk I could not stick with it any longer.

7:50 AM This was great set up. I had this on 15/30. I am sure the mess I got myself on the first trade got me overmanaging this one.
8:00 AM A solid momentum trade here as this came back into test my SMA. It caught right at it on the tape and I got good fill for a solid scalp, I was set on a 7/14 due to the size and the tight spread. I do think a little smaller I would have held for the whole bracket. Less profitable but better in trade discipline.
9:00 AM Just a low risk hack that I gave up quickly with some buyers at .71.
9:02 AM This would just would not give up .70 when I was in on it. But, this was an ok VWAP resistance set up. I just probably should not have come at this one twice. You can always get back in. I guess.
9:22 AM I am not sure where to start bashing myself here... I had 20% to let run and it was free with a stop above 49.00. I was set at 7/14 on this and took off at 9 cents to try and get the runner. Bad discipline!
