Was short into the first down halt, should have taken the entire position off as I saw the change of character on the next unhalt. We saw a bounce and demand on the tape wether it was from shorts covering or true demand, it doesnt matter. Shorted more into the pop over $4 and covered some into $3.90. Here's where the real mistake begun, instead of covering the entire position where I said I would ($4.50), I decided to keep sizing in with large size and aggressively around the core. Big mistake, that is not like me; I got carried away and let my rules fly out the window. My conviction was still there, and I knew the trade was still there, so I decided to keep scaling in but on "front side scale in size" (10%ish). This trade really should have been a lot better, I should have been engaging in proper self talk as it would have helped me remain self aware.
