I'm pretty sure I set my stops too close. I think I should have been looking more big picture and taken a larger risk to reward ratio. kept stopping out then re-entering the stock. Please comment..

what kind of stop loss should be on this position with 300 shares at $4.34. should it be at a set limit dollar amount or a percentage like .05%?
No. The rest/reward should be 2:1, so let say you get into a trade $10 and your stop $9.50. That mean your target should be $11.
Wherever there is support/resistance, if those areas are broken then that is where you would stop out at. There is no exact percentage.
