Morning gapper with a double top that formed on the daily. I was looking for a break above the $4.20 level. I entered too aggressively by not waiting for the second candle to close. This was my first week trading in a few months so I was rough around the edges in terms of reading the charts correctly.

The first attempt i see why you took the trade, but on the second attempt there is no reason to buy it there. It was to extended when you got. Idea entry was 3.80 for a scalp trade.

Another thing to remember is that when a stock gap up huge in the morning then fades hard right off the back, it will probably fade the whole day.
