I thought the 9.40's for sure. I put this trade on autopilot with a few orders and a wide stop at 10.10 and then left the room to do other things. Sure enough it hit 10. Mid 10's I tried shorting again and covered again when I realized it was going higher.

Yes I played this one incorrectly. I'm not so great at long setups. Did a thorough review of the life cycle of this kind of breakout today to better understand it.
I think what happened here was that I got too hung up on the big picture idea that this was a pump and dump and overlooked the intraday bull flags - ignoring that this had the ability to run much farther. I kept stopping out which was good because it limited the losses, but wasn't clear on what signal to wait for to know that this one was on the back end of the move. Day 1 of the breakout confused me because it retraced much of the initial gains. I've spent the whole evening studying this and other pump and dumps like DGLY and now have a better idea of what I'm looking for when these things crack.

why not wait for a setup to short?
