New rule which would have stopped this trade: Do not take the trade if the stock is up between 8-12%. May have an exception depending on the float amount. (This stock was up 8.85% at the time of trade).
Initial trade had a SL too tight so got stopped out and decided to jump back in as I thought the pattern was still active. This was a mistake as the first break should have broken with strong volume but it didn't.
Second trade - should have taken the profit at the top before it retraced. Decided to leave it until it triggered the SL incase it went the other way again.
