Flat top breakout. I entered in anticipation of the breakout. it had a red to green that had run up against the 38 area and backed off. I entered near the rising 9ema
Initial stop 36.98 Target 39.89
I managed this trade poorly. I set my initial target at 39.89, but after it spiked to 39.48 and backed off I was regretting not taking some off.
I added when it retraced back down to the ema's. I reset my stop to include the added shares, then reconsidered and thought I should use a higher stop since I added shares higher.
I would usually put my stop around 37.98, but for some idiot reason put it at 38.52, giving it no wiggle room.
My initial target was hit, but I didn't re-enter cuz the price looked like it was getting choppy
