This is the first premarket trade I have ever taken and I’m sure you can tell if you watch the video there was some confusion on exiting a trade premarket. Luckily, this proved to be beneficial as I would have taken profit earlier if the system didn’t reject my entries. Looking at the 1 year chart I noticed that if this moved past $.60 then it probably had the potential to reach its high of the past year which was $2.28. Volume was in the millions. Soon as it passed $.60 I bought in at $.62 and was able to ride this to $2.19, exiting trade right before the stock sold off.
Note: If you have not used TOS for premarket trading I would suggest doing that using on demand or paper trading first to get used to the difference in ordering. For example, to place a premarket order in TOS you have to change the TIF (Time in Force) to GTC-EXT (Good til Close – Extended Hours).
