Summary

Kept trying to catch a bounce that wasn't working, and then gave up on it RIGHT before it started working. But, I moved on because my original thesis didn't pan out, so I didn't want to keep trying to force a trade without an actual setup.

Did Right

• Moved on from the trade once I realized my setup/thesis did not play out.

Did Wrong

• Shouldn't have kept trying as long as I did. Once I got stopped out in the $98.30s; should have moved on as the 5min 20ma failed right above there at $99

Improvements

• Need to work on letting failed trade/trade ideas go. Not all trades are going to work out, and I should be ok with that. As long as I'm staying within my sizing guidelines, no one trade matters all that much. Dabble in small size, and just take the trade off if it doesn't pan out for a papercut; keep the losers minimal and easy to take off. Move on. If it does work out, scale up into your winners to make the most of them. That's it. Where I get into trouble is being in too big on a loser, which makes it so damn hard to take off.
