Summary
Had a good thesis, but got in too early. However, after scratching that trade, and regrouping, I waited patiently for the 1min 20ma entry trigger, and took it long, which I was really proud of.
Did Right
- Accepted my initial loss, and took a step back to look/wait for the real setup, and took the trade once the entry trigger presented itself. This allowed me to make back most of the losses on this trade.
Did Wrong
- Jumped in way too early for NO reason.
- The adds I made after my initial entry were not warranted
Improvements
Play the morning selloffs as I would any Opening Trend Bounce; wait for the opening trend to break before getting in.
