Notes on the trade: When the market (SPY’s & Q’s) opened I saw a lot of selling pressure so I decided that if the 5 min candle at 9:35 AM on $VXX was higher than the 5 min candle on $SPY at 9:30 AM I was going to take a position. Once I saw the candle on $VXX at 9:35 AM make the high I got in and was able to get my one to one kick right away.

After getting my kick all I did was trim a piece of my position every time I saw strength. Something that worked in my advantage was the breaking news regarding Trump's Tax forms and the Supreme Court.
