Summary

This was the bigger picture/context trade I was anticipating, and I actually got the price confirmation I was looking for when the 1min 20ma supported a bounce, but I completely fumbled this great setup because I was distracted with the opening short I made on ROKU. As a result I totally minimized this trade, and wasted it. I mean, it was the exact day 2 move I was expecting, and it played out perfectly. Ugh, what a freaking waste.

Did Right

• Acknowledged the long bias price confirmation, and opened a position on that entry trigger

Did Wrong

• Exited the position too soon, and without a valid Reason2Exit, as I was just concerned with digging out of the hole I created with the opening short trade in ROKU

Improvements

• At least while I'm still a developing trader, don't try to get fancy with my trades. If I have a solid thesis/trade setup that I'm anticipating, simply wait for that setup, and execute accordingly. Had I nailed this move as planned, it would have been an easy $5-$7 of upside, with plenty of chances to exit at the top near a $7.50 move.
