Lost in my 1st trade in this name but this one worked well. Been trading for 6+ yrs now. Me and patience usually dont go in same sentence when describing trading. Its usually FOMO instead.
Once a name like this that is being manipulated cracks a level that was being defended, in this case $23s, then there is usually a ton of air to come out and it comes out easily so I like to be aggressive once its broken. Thats why u see me adding more in low 20s vs mid 20s.
appreciate the kind words. Dont know of any good videos out there for fading. I learned from years of trading, tape watching, knowing what to look for, etc. The ideal fade setups have the following: min three 5min candles that expand in size, extend from EMAs, and increase in volume. Then on 1min there is a volume climax and reversal candle (inverted hammer). If there is price skipping even better. Trying to think of a recent example. That GENE trade of mine you commented on had 3 bars but the shrank in size so not ideal. EBAY had a decent setup on 7/9 off open. GSX on 7/8 from 11:35 to 11:55 was a great setup, just didnt work. IF i think of one i ll try to let you know
Check out today's (7/16) MRNA trade off the open. It has 4 consecutive green candles and while the last one isnt bigger than the previous one the volume increase was great. It was also extended from EMAs on 5min chart. And was rejected in $84s where there was a seller yest.

I see what your saying! I checked out that MRNA open, and yup, sure enough, there was 4 consecutive 5min green candles, followed by a nice red 1 indecision candle, and we can see this level was a struggle in the prior day. Then we got that bearish candle breaking down $83.50 on the very next 1 min candle! Got it. This one was over extension on the opening drive, right into prior day selling pressure, and buying just dried up once we got up there. Nice trade on MRNA today btw, you bagged that!

OMG!! This trade was crazy good! WTH Dp! How'd you get so good at this? Seriously, how long have you been trading? Your patience on this and your adds were insane! When you doubled your position at 10:57, I was thinking to myself "Man... Dp has got some balls! This guy is a Beast!"... Then 15mins later that drop into the $18's!! WTH!
Do you personally have any recommendations on any videos I can watch to learn how to "Fade". Man you have really mastered the fade play. And it seems like these speculative stocks that Pop astronomically from some News, are really good for this strategy.
