Summary

First short attempt was premeditated, and had a solid exit strategy, but it simply didn't work, and that's ok. Maybe I could have been a little more suspicious since the 5min 20ma was not on my side, but I felt comfortable taking the trade.

The second short trade however, I'm ashamed of. It was a total gamble, hail mary trade, that I took simply to help get me green. Went in with 1,000 shares, which was 4x my max size for this stock. Had this trade not worked, it would have fucked me hard.

Did Right

• First trade was planned, with a valid playbook setup and entry signal
• At least one second trade I did wait for a reversal entry signal, but if I'm being honest, the trade wasn't really thought out; just a spray and pray.

Did Wrong

• Took an oversized gamble trade, with outsized risk, and no plan. Basically, one of the worst things I could do as a trader. This type of behavior could kill me when I get to bigger sizes. Being green on the day is not important; only trading well and following my process. If I trade well the entire day, and still end the day red, that's still a good day. Trading well is all I can ask of myself; I do not control the outcomes/results directly.

Improvements

• Avoid on-tilt, gamble trading like this at all cost.

Next Trade

RUN is pretty damn extended from it's daily 20ma; would expect a pull in soon; just need to be patient and wait for the entry signal.
