QQQ Trade on Jul 17, 2020 10:01 from spyrosz: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Watching QQQs and MSFT veryyy closely.
MSFT having lost the 20SMA@daily and looking weak, I thought that might trigger a change in sentiment and sell-off in overall market, esp. QQQs.
I tried that trade yesterday as well but got chopped up badly (in QQQs and MSFT).

Well, today I missed the easy short on MSFT, when it tried to reclaim the 20SMA@daily=$205 out of the gates, got rejected and flushed $3 in 10mins!!!
What a bitch...The move I was trying to catch all-day yesterday.
I should have paid way more attention on the name coming today.

Well, QQQs sold-off together with MSFT. Bounced back from S1=$258 towards VWAP (I contemplated on whether I should go short MSFT or QQQs, I decided to go with QQQs since they bounced a bit more while MSFT was hanging tight in-front of support).

Started scaling in to the short, adding more size after each failed attempt to reclaim VWAP, risking yesterday's close=$259.2s, expecting 2nd leg lower to S2=200EMA@60min chart=$256.5s at a minimum!!!

Trade started working out, covered some when it broke LOD, placed bids in-front of $257 and $256.5s...

Well, QQQs found a bid at $257.2s, reversed hard.
Covered bulk when it reclaimed $258.
Added size in-front of stop risking 10c, and got stopped out.

Small winner...

(-) Very choppy action on the indeces last three days w/o much follow-thru (on the upside or downside for that matter). I should have known better and take more aggressive covers.
