Idea, Entry, and Risk:

*Idea: FF
*Entry: Aimed: 16.10s - 16.30s (actual @ 15.90s)
*Risk: 1:3 (later adjusted 1:2)

Catalyst and News:

N/A. Still heavily favored due to its status and buy target from a few weeks ago (Operation Warp Speed)

Fundamentals:

N/A

Technicals:

Morning explosion up into the 17s, yet flew back down and consistently failed to hit anything much past the 16.20s.
Gradually broke down over the course of the day, but was heavily crowded and would usually surge back up after big slams or flushes.
Required a lot of patience, but the range was honestly pretty small, and in hindsight not so much worth it. Despite it turning around almost immediately after I entered, it never got particularly close to my stop, so I was fairly comfortable waiting for it to slowly unwind.
Got out after lot of it flip-flopping around. Even though it broken down past the second major support later at the 15.70s, it didn't feel particularly worth it.

Summation:

Hesitated on the entry at the second surge back up to the 16.20s
-Got in as it dangled off the a cliff around the 16.00s.
-Waited as it approached my stop but never hit (1R = 35pips)
-Took off half after a big wash while I watched the trade test back above the 16.10s
-Saw momentum start to shift back up despite all of the gradual breakdown today (slightly higher lows until 7:30, but no new highs). Should have waited for the second pop as I kept expecting a wash today, but got in at the 16.00 break instead because I expected the washout there.
-Washout happened while I was gone. Didn't have the patience today to wait for the rest so I took the minute gain. A win's a win for now.

Takeaways:

I adjusted how I approached my live trades today. Rather than focus on sizing in, which I believe was causing my paper performance to backslide, I committed to using a single planned entry and R/R, and only sizing out if I felt it was truly necessary. With the exception of the entry, things kind of went as I expected for the most part.

Sometimes I get blinded. The range on this was nowhere near as strong as the tickers below.

There were substantially better, easier moves today, better following similar ideas, such as (APDN, VCNX, NIO)
