Summary

Good earnings, so went in with a long bias. Sold off on open, and I waited for an entry signal to start position. Was proud of myself for actually waiting for the 1min 20ma cup to complete, but given that stock wasn't feeling very strong, I was quick to get out. Funny enough, my last sell order was the high candle of the day, right before TXN sold off nearly $5

Did Right

• Went in with a premeditated bias and game plan
• Waited for entry signal
• Exited position when price action started feeling very weak, at a whole dollar number.
• Stayed within sizing guidelines

Did Wrong

• Missed the bigger picture short opportunity, which was a nice $3 move even with strict entry criteria.
• First exit wasn't justified, missed $0.30 of upside for no reason.
• Should have kept at least a core position on, in case trend continued.

Improvements

• Stay open minded, and be on the lookout for opposite entry trigger, especially when 5min 20ma is not on my bias' side.

Next Trade

Expecting reversal back to upside given the hold above daily 20ma today, and start of an uptrend into the close. Ideally we get some sort of flush on open, and get closer to $130 or maybe even a little lower.
