Ooh man, what a waste of a great reversal trade that I had anticipated. Similar to TSM, I hesitated to commit to a direction, as I was half expecting the trade to go either way. However, once a valid entry signal is provided, and I see my edge, I MUST take the trade. Ended up scalping what should have been a clean $2 move.
At least had AMD on radar with a valid bias. Even waited for the 5min 20ma cup to begin forming, and started trade in anticipating of the move, which would have been fine, but I didn't see it through, and instead just scalped.
Waited for an entry signal to begin forming, but threw strategy out the window the second I entered pre-maturely in anticipation. Also, covered way too soon, without any valid Reason2Cover.
If I do all the work to find and plan a trade idea, if I get my entry signal, I owe it to myself to take the trade, and see it all the way through, so I can at least capture the Tradervue stats for later analysis.
Tomorrow is AMD's earnings; would expect it to sell off some, unless earnings are killer, in which case AMD could really blow. If earnings are just expectedly good, and it gaps up, my bias will be short.
