Thank for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I actually didnt really notice the double top, despite constantly looking at the chart. I guess i need to be more aware of the levels. I suffer from recency bias, I messed up TSLA on Monday (stopped out before the move) so I was afraid of missing it again. but as you said it was really extended that was not the time to be entering. And FOMO is also a massive issue here:). but at least i know what to work on. thanks again

Looks like your buying at the wrong time. Look back at 23 Jul 2020, you can see TSLA put in a double top at that same area. 27 Jul, it broke it, held then failed. It test that area again today, which is when you bought it and it failed. then hit support at 1500 level and broke though, but could not hold the level. few pointers. Make sure you fully understand support and resistance levels before entering a trade. when you bought TSLA it had already done a 48 point move from the bottom. I know TSLA can do some crazy stuff, but try to avoid entering when its already made a good size upward move. Patience, and wait for the pull back to support then look for your entry. Hopefully this was helpful.
